Sylvia is the Marketing Director for Salcedo Group, Inc., an Oak Cliff-based civil engineering and surveying firm. She is repsonsible for producing proposals and developing clients. She has been with the organization since 1983 and has been instrumental in obtaining major contracts with Oak Cliff developers and the City of Dallas. Sylvia has also been active in organizations such as the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce. She is the Chairwoman for the Chamber's 2008 Gala and will coordinate all aspects of this major Chamber fundraiser. Sylvia also participates in the Chamber's Membership Committee. Sylvia is married to Luis Salcedo for 35 years and has 3 children, Angela, Matthew and Michael. Sylvia and Luis live in North Oak Cliff.
