Portland's Streetcar

Streetcar's tend to be less than half the cost of Light Rail, faster to implement, and work more easily in an urban environment. The OCTA hopes to combine modern and historic streetcar service that will one day connect to major transportation hubs in Downtown Dallas.

Image The Oak Cliff Transit Authority was founded in 2006. Our mission is to become the link that binds Oak Cliff's burgeoning arts districts, all while being a viable, environmentally friendly, historic public transporation service that helps reclaim and revitalize the area's prominence.

Our partner, Bike Friendly Oak Cliff (BFOC), is part of the effort to provide many transportation options for our neighborhood. BFOC is focused on creating family friendly bike events and activities, installation of bike infrastructure, and bicycle-related advocacy.
